Deshi Chakki Aata Recipes
Aata Halwa (Kada Prasad Style)
Ingredients:
- 1 cup Deshi chakki aata
 - 1 cup ghee or butter
 - 1 cup sugar/jaggery
 - 2 cups water
 - Cardamom powder, dry fruits (optional)
 
Method:
- Heat ghee in a kadai and roast aata on a low flame until dark golden and aromatic (15–20 mins).
 - In another pan, boil water with sugar/jaggery until dissolved.
 - Slowly add syrup to the roasted aata, stirring continuously.
 - Cook until halwa leaves the sides of the pan.
 - Garnish with nuts and serve warm.
 
Tip: Always roast on a low flame to avoid burning.
