Besan Chilla
A quick, protein-packed breakfast or evening snack that’s light yet filling. Besan chilla is a traditional Indian favorite, easy to make and versatile with veggies or spices.
Ingredients:
- 1 cup Besan (gram flour)
 - 1 small onion (finely chopped)
 - 1 green chili (chopped, optional)
 - 2 tbsp chopped coriander leaves
 - ½ tsp turmeric powder
 - Salt to taste
 - Water (to make batter)
 - Oil for cooking
 
Instructions:
- Mix besan with turmeric, salt, onion, chili, and coriander.
 - Add water gradually to make a smooth, flowing batter.
 - Heat a tawa, grease lightly with oil.
 - Pour batter, spread like a pancake.
 - Cook both sides till golden brown. Serve hot with chutney.
